We provide appliance rental services — including washing machines, and tumble dryers (vented and condensing) — across the North East of England.

• Rental gives you “Peace of mind” as any broken or faulty machine will be replaced within 48 hours. 

• Delivery and installation to your existing plumbing is free. 

• Evening and weekend delivery options.

What are the rental terms / contract details?

• There is a 12-month contract for all machines. 

• If you wish to end the contract early, you simply forfeit your deposit and the machine will be collected.

• Installation is £30, plus first month’s rent. 

• After that, payments are taken weekly or monthly via direct debit. 

• No credit check required — only proof of ID at the delivery address, a signed contract and direct debit form.

What are the service inclusions?

Which areas do we cover?

Service available across the North East, including... Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham, North & South Shields, Jarrow, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees and Darlington.

What if the machine breaks down or I have a problem?

Coastal aim to replace any broken or faulty machine within 48 hours.

Do I need to do any installation or plumbing work?

No — installation onto your existing plumbing is included free of charge.

Please note: Existing plumbing needs to be in good working order in order for installation to take place.

What happens if I stop the contract before 12 months?

If you end the contract early, you forfeit any payments and Coastal will collect the machine to terminate the contract.
